Submission System NavBar Redesign

The first project for the Submission System redesign was to address the outdated navigation bar. The system’s navbar was in dire need of a redesign and the decision to start there was due to it being on every page of the system and something that every user role interacted with. The one requirement by management was that in my redesign I was not to remove anything currently available in the navbar. My hope was to create a design that would make use of the design system I was starting and create something that could built upon in future updates and scaled as needed. I used surveys and additional user feedback to collect data to make some design decisions.
