User Group Meeting Research Breakdown

One of the highlights of working at Aries is the annual Editorial Manager User Group Meeting (EMUG), which offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with users and gain insights into how they interact with our products. While these meetings transitioned to a virtual format during the pandemic, the 2023 event marked the return of in-person gatherings.

A new addition to the event was the UX Station, where I had the opportunity to interact with users face-to-face. At the station, I guided users through interactive prototypes of upcoming designs and gathered invaluable feedback through activities such as poster board discussions and exclusive EMUG surveys.

For our UX survey, we focused on customer satisfaction (CSAT) questions to collect feedback on a wide range of features and use cases for Editorial Manager. After the event, I created a presentation that highlighted both the UX Station and the insights gathered from the survey. The feedback and user quotes were shared companywide and were provided to the product team to support roadmap prioritization and help inform future design decisions.
