Reviewer Invitation Workflow Redesign

The Reviewer Invitation Process within the Submission System has been a frequent source of user feedback and complaints over the years, primarily due to its complexity, cluttered interface, and steep learning curve for new users. Through a combination of user interviews and usability testing, I gathered valuable insights that informed key design decisions to different pages.

Leveraging the design system I was developing, I focused on redesigning the most problematic areas of the workflow. My goal was to simplify the process and enhance usability, ensuring a smoother experience for both new users and power users accustomed to the previous workflow.

This project had it’s share of challenges and ultimately it was decided that instead of a full redesign on the entire flow the main focus would be on the first page users interact with.
